We need your help in worship, whether full-time member or Island visitor...
Worship is the work of all the people. You can exercise your ministry in worship by serving as:
TRADITIONAL WORSHIP
GREETER - Welcome all of our guests on Sunday morning. Offer assistance and/or direction as requested. You are the first line representative of the Gloria Dei Church family.
USHER - Distribute worship materials, provide assistance as requested, receive the morning offering, and direct traffic flow at Holy Communion, especially mindful to watch over our first-time visitors.
ACOLYTE - Responsible for bringing the Light of Christ into the midst of the assembly and assisting other worship leaders as requested.
READER - Reading the appointed lessons and leading the responsive reading of the appointed psalm for the day.
WORSHIP LEADER - Assist the Pastor in leading the worship services of the gathered congregation.
COMMUNION ASSISTANT - Assist in the distribution of Holy Communion.
MUSICIANS - Join our fine choir, or, consult with the Choirmaster/Organist about other musical gifts you might share in our traditional worship services.
FELLOWSHIP HOST - Host fellowship following worship by preparing and presenting food and beverage service following worship. To serve in this capacity please see our Fellowship Coordinator, Lolly Paysour.
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP
If you have gifts to share as a part of our Contemporary Worship services on Saturday evenings, please speak with Pastor Rosemary or our Worship Leader, Rob Roberts.
