While many frequent visitors who make Gloria Dei Lutheran Church their winter home, many are called to become members of the congregation who make the commitment to share in supporting our ministry year-round through their gifts of time, talent, and financial resources.
If you are called to become a member of this congregation, here is how it can happen for you -
MEMBERSHIP
We take seriously our Lord's invitation to any and all people who will take up the challenge to follow him. If you experience that call to follow through membership in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, please join us for one of our "Getting Started" gatherings, where we join together for a meal and explore three questions:
What does it mean to be a Christian?
What does it mean to be a Lutheran?
What does it mean to be a Lutheran at Gloria Dei?

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Many people have church homes that have been a part of their life for a long time and wish to continue their membership even as they make a new commitment to membership in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. If you are resident on the Island for only a part of the year, or, if you wish to retain your membership in another congregation while making a faithful commitment to ministry through Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, we welcome your partnership. Please speak to the Pastor about your specific interests.
"JUST VISITING"
You, too, are welcome here. Whether for a weekend, a month, or the winter season, you are invited to be a part of our congregation's worship and parish life. Let us know of your desires to serve. Please be certain to subscribe to our newsletter. The limits of your participation are truly set by you.
